  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, Parmesan, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and half the basil.
  4. Cut pockets in each chicken breast and stuff with the ricotta mixture. Secure with toothpicks if necessary.
  5. Place stuffed chicken in the baking dish and top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F).
  7. Let rest for five minutes before serving, garnished with remaining basil.
