  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 12 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • â…› teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • pinch of table salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325℉ and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Prepare the peach filling by combining chopped peaches, lemon juice, granulated sugar, and cornstarch; set aside.
  3. For the crumble topping, mix sugars, flour, and salt; add melted butter until crumbly.
  4. In a large bowl, cream together cream cheese and butter; gradually add sugar.
  5. Mix in eggs one at a time followed by extracts.
  6. Whisk together flour and baking powder; add to wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Fold in half of the peach mixture into the batter. Layer in the loaf pan starting with batter, then remaining peaches, followed by more batter.
  8. Top with crumble mixture before baking for about 90 minutes or until golden brown.
