  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients: Thinly slice the flank steak and chop the vegetables.
  2. Marinate the steak: Mix sliced steak with soy sauce and cornstarch; let it sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. Cook the steak: Heat one tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated steak until browned (about 2-3 minutes per side).
  4. Add shrimp & vegetables: Remove steak from skillet; add remaining oil and sauté garlic, ginger, bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot for about 4 minutes. Add shrimp until pink (2-3 minutes).
  5. Combine: Return steak to skillet; season with salt and pepper. Toss everything together for another minute.
  6. Serve hot: Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
